What fish is this? (Pinkbanded Grubfish)

I'm quite confident that the fish is a pink-banded grubfish (Parapercis nebulosa).

At first glance, it does look like a lizardfish, but the continuous dorsal fin and bright blue stripes around the head are the telltale signs.

Marg,

You also need side-on photos, it makes for easier I.D. of unusual species.

The lizardfish I caught and ate a couple of years ago was a bit bony and had a different taste to most other fish I have eaten. It was fairly edible, but would not make it a favourite fish.
