I had a fish on Tuesday, yesterday, and didn't lose a bait. Water is much colder and with all the rain lately, it's also lost some of its salinity. Tidal movement is low because the mouth is pretty much blocked and with the lake in minor flood, the incoming tide was not making much headway.

I have been getting plenty of luderick over the last few months and hope this is just one of those hiccoughs you get!

Yum one of my favourite fish to put on the plate!

Very under rated fish in the kitchen, cheap too at the markets.
