reelaxation
Tackled the local Creek waaaaaay upstream in very ordinary cond last sat nite was rewarded with these- the smaller 1 went 33 and the bigger went 41cm and pulled some string, lost a much bigger model on 6lb and also nailed a couple of XOS eels both going well above the 1.5m mark couldnt get piccies of them or even get them up the bank. One of the best local sessions I have had in a while. Edited July 10, 2019 by reelaxation typo

big Neil
Nice session mate. Were you bait fishing or flicking lures? A nightmare getting the hooks out of eels...the way they tangle everything up. Cheers, bn
reelaxation
All fish and eels caught on bait (chicken strips and Taylor strip baits) - lucky the eels snapped the line as I tried to drag them up the bank, otherwise I wasn't looking forwards to retrieving hooks from them and would have cut the line anyway.
lakelad
Nice bream and report, yes I reckon the eels can keep the hooks 😬
