Port Hacking flattie

Not caught by me, but my son sent me a photo of one he caught from my mother's place today in Gunnamatta Bay. (I am in Toowoomba Qld at present)

He said it was easily 70cm (and it looks it in the photo) caught on a soft plastic in less than 2 metres of water. Surprised him and his mate. The flattie was rather fat, and was released. Easily his biggest so he is happy.

No water in Toowoomba for fishing.

Good on your son for getting his PB flattie.  What is your PB from the Hacking Yowie?

Caught this year - 88cm and 87 cm, both just over 10 pound, weighed and released. Previous was 86cm caught 20 to 25 years ago.
