Yowie
Headed up from Lilli Pilli early this morning. Hardly worth the effort. The only legal fish was this flattie. Just a couple of little reddies, and 2 pillies - no yakkas at all to be caught. Flattie released to be caught again some day.

Welster
Nice flattie there Yowie. Well done on the release. It's very unusual for you to come home without dinner.

jecaseka
Good on you releasing her - my 'shore crew' (and cook) would complain if I didn't bring anything home for dinner so the pressure is always on - and my catch rate isn't always as good as some of you guys as I am in a kayak and can't cover as much ground as the boaties. Was thinking about a feed, though they are good breeders at that size and a bit firmer meat than the smaller ones.
Yowie
Just saw some duskies for sale in the Southgate fish shop at Sylvania. Uncleaned at $17 a kilo, a couple of them looked a similar size to mine.

A bit of berley may help. 52 minutes ago, Basil D said: nice Flathead Yowie Thanks Basil. The flatties are about in Bate Bay or further south.
