woy woy col Posted November 4, 2019 Author Share Posted November 4, 2019 (edited) Sorry about the time getting back to you my intention is now to just have an alloy cover above the prop I cannot think of the correct name of this item but it controls cavitation and brings the boat up to the plane quicker. Top end speed is not all that important as l will be in a continuous sea swell in Broke Bay I was told at the weekend that it's cheaper to replace a prop than a new drive sharf. What do you think..? Its called a hydrofoil & the jury is still out imo on there effectiveness, sometimes causing more stabilization problems than benefits! Have a read through some old threads & make up your own mind- Better weight distribution helped me out but more power would be handy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
