Berrero 62 Posted February 5 (edited) Hey Raiders, Got up stupid early both days last weekend to fish the sunrise at Hen & Chicken Bay in Sydney. Didn't catch anything amazing but had lots of fun. Plenty of flathead out to play. No measurements but would guess flatheads were high 30s - low 50s. I've started filming short clips of my catches & releases rather than just taking a photo to be able to share with friends & family etc. Gear used: Daiwa TD Zero rod 7'3 2-5kg Shimano Stradic ci4+ 2500 series 8lb braid / 8lb FC leader Daiwa double clutch 95mm in brown suji shrimp Jackall squirrel 79mm silent in albino chartreuse pirarucu Thanks for reading, tight lines. Until next time Chris Edited February 5 by Berrero
motiondave 72 Posted February 5 Nice video, Its a good productive bay and despite smaller stuff, yes, theres a good fish catch to be made. I sometimes fish from shore over on Friend Ave as its easy parking and you dont have to toss a line too far out. ive picked up a good share of solid high 30s bream, low 40s flathead and the odd 50cm tailor. all on bait Also down on Wymston Ave , along the shore line or off the sand are great spots. as you may know, best fished 2 hours before and up to high tide and two hours on down tide from top.
