big Neil
I love where I live and thought I'd share a few pics with the (predominantly) coastal members. We have just had a lovely bit of rain here and are all hopeful for a bit more. Can't get many pics on here with the limit per post so I have compressed them. Hope that some of you enjoy them. Tight lines wherever you fish, bn Edited March 7, 2020 by big Neil correction

Frank Haha Frank, you sure could get a few bowls. Hope that you're mastering the lathe, I'm sure that you will be. Fishing comp on here at present so water has been sent through to Gogelderie Weir where the comp is. Might get a chance to sneak out this week maybe if the water remains. It is still very low so fairly limiting how far you can travel at my usual spots. Cheers, Neil

Alas I'd need hospitalising if I even contemplated that idea. Hope you're getting a few fish, cheers bn

61 crusher
Great photos Neil I can see why you like that stretch of water, plenty of good potential snags in there if only the water was a bit higher, I heard the other day that the Murray darling system has good flow from all the rain, hopefully a good chunk of it gets directed your way 🤞, that tree makes your other half look like a dwarf must be at least 6 foot across, nice bit of country you live in
Hoods
Youre making me home sick bn. A good fire on the beach in Nobles Reserve, stocked esky & a bottle of McWilliams to ward off the frost. Fishing always seemed a bonus. Hope you did well. Is there any water in Mirrool Creek?? Hdz

A mate was telling me that the flow down part of the Darling River has seen numerous 1 metre plus Cod move back into flowing water for the first time in years (out of the near stagnant holes that they have been occupying). We won't get any real benefit from the flows down the Darling as it is a long way downstream of us, but there is a bit of water in the Bidgee today, so I may sneak out tomorrow if time permits. Hdz G'day Hoods. Not surprising that you may feel homesick...it is a special place. I always have a bottle of McWilliams handy for when it gets cold. Parts of Mirrool Creek have water but like everywhere the levels are low at present. The agricultural sector of the region has really taken a hammering with no rice or cotton to talk of. Plenty of nut trees going in so that may be the newest venture to accompany the grape growers. Cheers, bn
