Guest Guest123456789
When we moved into our house it lacks a garage and the existing old shed barely fit the lawnmower. So from April this year I started work on it. I am happy to report except for the power and lighting (coming this Friday) its now finished. very happy to have a place to store, protect and maintain my fishing and boating gear. noelm
Got to love putting a garden shed together, don't know about yours, but the one I did years ago was a nightmare.

I hear you. It’s a big job. Number of hours assembly probably 36+. You have to take your time and you need the right tools. You need two+ people a few times, particularly final assembly. Could have used that for when your in the dog house with the missus 🤣
bessell1955
I would rather teach Kindergarten, then put up a kit shed.

bessell1955
Because I can teach, but I am hopeless using tools to construct anything.

Me too, though I have taught myself and upped my construction skill level from ‘useless’ to ‘mediocre’
Green Hornet
Looks like you've done a good job there flatheadluke. You can't beat those pre-fab sheds. As a tradie myself, you can't even buy the materials for the price of a kit.

I would have preferred a timber shed built buy a local tradie but the price of timber is ridiculous at the moment. I ordered the shed just in time, but because of COVID 19 it took 6 weeks to ship and the cost has gone up 30% since I bought it.
jeffb5.8
I built a easy shed similar size on my own it was not easy doing it on my own, but between YouTube and their instructions I got it done in a weekend and its water tight and the door closed well. Love a well organised Shed, looks great good job Edited June 29, 2020 by jeffb5.

My sledgehammer is only 8lbs I thought about upsizing you 14lbs but was worried about breaking nearby windows. its all out of my system now!
