Just announced this years winners, my youngest daughter took out first in juniors. https://www.samuseum.sa.gov.au/c/npoty/gallery My daughters winning image is the green tree frog taken in the far north tropics of Queensland. Now both my girls have had a first place.

Nice, great achievemnts from both your girls & from what is essentially a pretty cheap camera, just goes to show its about that you can do when you have the know how.

Pretty amazing pictures in there, I used to love trying to get images like that but it was expensive trying pre digital.

I put a picture into a comp once when I was a kid, back in the day when they were actually on 35mm film, didnt do any good but hey its was about having a go & learning from others.

Jon. Once again I congratulate one of your daughters for a magnificent achievement, proud dad many times over.

There are some awesome photos amongst those  and your daughter should be very proud to come out on top.

My favorite is the silhouetted Kangaroo.

Thanks for the comments guys, she's had images in the top ten for several years and this was her last chance to equal her sister with a win. 

As for her sister, she passed her masters five yesterday with flying colours. It does seem weird to think of her in command of bigger vessels with heaps of passengers.
