0 noelm Posted May 2, 2021 Share Posted May 2, 2021 There's two species that are very similar, the "Deep Water Sea Perch" and the "Banded Sea Perch" I think one has only 4 stripes or bands, the other has more, seeing this was caught in deep water, my guess is the Deep Water variety, I will have a look at the book later to confirm either way.
