Not sure why you wouldn't want a swivel? It's also there to reduce twist in the line. How are you fishing Are? Are you trolling?? The other option would be a SS ring. Personally don't think I would want braid running directly to such a potentially abrasive point. If you have found a mono to wire knot then why not use a mono/fluro leader & use a FG knot or similar to tie the leader to the braid?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
