Hunkgarian
Hi Derek Great idea. I'll link a few different images, not sure how I can insert them, I tried with the link, but the links went red and nothing happened? My main interest is wildlife photography (birds especially) and fast action, like planes, motor racing (both only occasionally though, as admittedly they are kind of like shooting fish in a barrel when you're used to shooting unpredictable wild animals). https://www.amatteroflight.com/Auto/Motor-Racing/i-j6gL2n5/A Olympus OMD-E-M1X, M.Zuiko 300mm f/4 PRO lens (field of view = 600mm), ISO1250, f/5.6, 1/60th, hand held https://www.amatteroflight.com/Raptors/Peregrine-Falcon/i-WfZkgpN/A Peregrine Falcon juveniles learning flight skills. JonD
I moved away from high end gear having owned around $80k worth of gear at one point but seeing what direction making money from photography was heading I sold the lot and bought just one relatively cheap compact. That compact is now around 3 yrs old and I still have no complaints about it. Its a camera that I can shoot wide enough landscapes and close enough wildlife to still keep me interested in the now hobby (rather than trying to make money fro it). Image quality is still high enough for magazine work etc. These images were from the first test of the camera, being able to hold the camera in one hand and still paddle the kayak with the other was something I had no chance of with the old almost 8kg lens and body!!! Apologies for the greatly downsized images, to difficult to locate bigger ones on my terrible filing system!!! JonD
There is so much of this in the bush within 1km of the local tip. Many complain of the $38 tip fee's, which I guess why so much gets dumped in the bush.

I see the same up here in the Shoalhaven, often fridges, washing machines etc left on the side of the road in a quiet corner. What these people don't realise is all metal and recyclable goods are free to leave at our tips. @kingie chaserWe have recycle bins here in the Shoalhaven. What's sad to see is visitors stuffing all sorts of un-recyclable garbage into them once their regular bins are full.

Berrero
Bit late to the mark on this one, not a photographer by any means but always have my trusty phone camera at the ready. Here's a few of my favourites from a recent Hamilton Island trip. Unfortunately the only copies I have left are on FB and they compress the hell out of the photos.. Plus a lovely mirror shot taken of me down at the local: Edited January 5, 2022 by Berrero

DerekD
Hi All, Throwing this one under the category: Nightlife I had the privilege and pleasure of shooting a Pirates & Sirens themed 50th birthday at the Cauliflower hotel (used to be a cauliflower garden on the site where the hotel was built). There were several performers there including "Snake dancer lady" aka https://www.instagram.com/dieseldarling_/. Each of her costumes for the evening were amazing and were also designed by her. She is a performer talented enough to have won Miss Burlesque Australia. Worth seeing if you ever get the chance. Hope you enjoy the first set of photos. I was running two cameras that evening. A Canon 80D with 18 to 135mm lens and flash for group shots and a Canon RP with 50mm lens and LED panel for portraits. DerekD
Hi All, This one is going under the topic Dusk. Was fishing at Blackwattle bay with Fishraider @HenryR and another gentleman and the setting sun was lighting up the Anzac bridge beautifully. I had the difficult decision of continuing fishing or getting the camera out. Taken with a Canon RP and 24mm to 105mm lens. These are some of the results.
