frankS
About 20 years ago i made a set of rod holders that twist and adjust to fit pretty well any angled fixed rod holder that is in the boat. Back then most rod holders were just screwed into the hull somewhere and the holders that are available these days that fit onto rails etc were not readily available. These holders I made are fully adjustable and whichever fixed rod holder you put them in you can adjust the angle to give your rod the best angle to the water. They swivel up and down and twist in 6 different angles via a spring loaded mechanism to give the angle desired. Been sitting in my scrap bin for 15 years as I thought they were a bit ugly, but thinking I might use them once again in this boat, if I ever get to put it in the water. I have made heaps of other rod holders of all angles but these are the only fully adjustable ones I have made. Frank 5
big Neil
Hope you manage to get out on the water Frank, so you can put them to the test. Bit of a pain not being able to go fishing isn't it? Hope you're keeping well mate. Neil
Pickles
Great Info Frank - tough not being able to get out on the water, but good to read what others are doing (have done) to get ready when we can get back on the water. Thanks for sharing mate.
