ARH
Caught a few of these in a school this afternoon using lures off Lion Island. Can anyone help with identifying?

0 noelm
Yep, definitely a Tailor, OK eating when fresh, not too good for freezing, or if left in the fridge for a while.
0 Little_Flatty
@ARH Yep, Tailor as everyone else says. Get a start on identifying fish here, whilst learning of bag and size limits: Saltwater bag and size limits (nsw.gov.au) Looks to be legal sized by looks of things, did you measure it? Generally most tend to bleed and ice them when caught and then eaten fresh.
